After having built a bamboo support structure for my Christmas amaryllis, now far past its prime, I cannot part with it. Besides, I could let it go dormant in my Brooklyn hallway, and try to make it bloom again next year. An Amaryllis Grows in Brooklyn, and that sort of stuff.
