We interrupt this longer-than-usual (record-setting?) blog silence to bring you one of these test pattern "best of" posts. Admittedly, it is a stall tactic while I wrestle with such issues as, "Why has Facebook robbed my blog of my musings?" and answers like, "Oh, because I get instant feedback on Facebook, and it's nice to get feedback on your thoughts, because, let's face it, feedback is sort of inspiring." Well in any case, it's time to put up a new post, instead of that Twitter is Bleak one, because that's a bit on the depressing side of things. So here goes.
